A Brisbane Plane Spotters Holiday Photos from Central Queensland!

Brendan B is a plane spotter based in Brisbane, and recently he travelled to Central Queensland for work, and of course, a little bit of plane spotting!  He sent us through some of his images he took while visiting Emerald, Clermont, and Rockhampton Airports.

Brendan started his trip in Emerald, capturing a variety of the Regular Passenger Transport (RPT) and fly-in fly-out (FIFO) and other local charter operators.

He then ventured to Clermont Aerodrome, where the friendly locals invited Brendan inside the fence to capture some spectacular images of the main Runway 15/33.

Also at Clermont Aerodrome, he captured some spectacular images of a pair of Skytrans Dash-8 aircraft, as well as Australasian Jet's Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-ZMW, of which Brendan was invited to take some photos of the flightdeck and cabin of this immaculately presented little corporate aircraft.

Brendan then travelled to Rockhampton Airport where he spent a nice time capturing some images of the afternoon RPT and other arrivals into Rockhampton from Brisbane.

He also captured QantasLink (Cobham Aviation) Boeing B717-200 VH-NXQ departing Rockhampton for Brisbane.

Thanks Brendan for sending your photos through - looked like you had a great holiday - they are magnificent photos!
