LifeFlight LearJet VH-VVI - Plus Cap Rescue Helicopters VH-VAU & VH-LSY - Call into Emerald Airport

Around dawn on Saturday 8 April, LifeFlight (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjet VH-VVI "Ambulance 451" was noted arriving into Emerald Airport from Brisbane.  After about an hour on the ground, it returned to Brisbane, presumably completing a med-evac flight.

It was also interesting to note that about the same time on Saturday 8 April, Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service (CHRS) / Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia Bell 412EP helicopter VH-VAU (flying as "Rescue 300") also looked to complete a med-evac flight from Emerald Airport but to Rockhampton Base Hospital.

And even more interesting was that as the sun was setting on Friday 7 April, fellow CHRS Bell 412 helicopter VH-LSY (also seemingly flying as "Rescue 300") was also noted completing a med-evac flight from Emerald Airport to Rockhampton (presumably) to the Base Hospital too.

Meanwhile, Gulf Coast Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-KXM was noted visiting Emerald Airport on Thursday 7 April.  It arrived from Vanrook Station (near Normanton) and later departed to Archerfield and then Bankstown.

VH-KXM had flown North from Bankstown to Vanrook Station via Archerfield and Cairns across Tuesday 5 April and Wednesday 6 April.

Finally, another Pilatus Britten-Norman BN2A-20 Islander has called into Emerald Airport while ferrying from Archerfield to the North.  On Wednesday 6 April, VH-VPC was noted arriving from Archerfield and later departing to Innisfail and then Horn Island.
