Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules A97-447 Completes Airwork at Gladstone and Mackay Airports

On Monday 14 August, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules A97-447 was noted conducting airwork up the Queensland coast after appearing to earlier depart RAAF Base Amberley as "Ausy 615".

It appears to have earlier departed RAAF Base Richmond before landing at Amberley for a short period of time.

A97-447 "Ausy 615" was heard completing an overshoot onto Runway 28 at Gladstone Airport before continuing further North where it was then noted overflying Rockhampton.  It is believed that A97-447 then completed a missed approach at Mackay Airport.
