On Tuesday 10 October, ADD Aviation Services (Australian Corporate Jet Centres) Raytheon Hawker 800XP bizjet VH-OFJ was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from the Ballina/Bryon Gateway Airport in Northern New South Wales.  It was due to call in over the weekend but seemingly was delayed.

VH-OFJ visited Hamo at the start of the month and like then appears to be staying for some time.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 10 October, the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY was noted flying up from Brisbane to Gladstone.  As they come to a position abeam Gladstone at a height of 25 000 feet, the crew executed a practice emergency descent and dropped to around 7 000 feet in about 3 miles.

VH-SGY then landed at Gladstone Airport, back-tracked and departed to Bundaberg Airport.  After landing at Bundy again for a short period of time, VH-SGY returned to Brisbane.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 11 October, VH-SGY was back in the air completing more training.  It again flew up from Brisbane and this time completed an ILS approach and landing at Gladstone Airport.  VH-SGY back-tracked and departed to Bundaberg Airport again where it landed for a short time before returning back to Brisbane.
